The elders meet regularly for reading of the Word and prayer, to discuss care of members and attend to spiritual matters of the congregation.
Isaac Zull is a graduate of Johnson Bible College. He began serving First Baptist as Youth Pastor in July of 2003. In May of 2007 the congregation called him to serve as Senior Pastor. Isaac has been married to his wonderful wife Julie since 1999. They have four children Gabriel, Mireil, Adaline and Lincoln.
My wife Peggy and I have been a part of First Baptist Church for over five years and intend to continue the relationship. We enjoy being focused on God by the worship experience each Sunday and we continue to grow in our relationship with Christ through Sunday school, small groups, and ample opportunities to serve within the church. Gospel focused worship, growing in Christ through personal relationships and joining together in service are important aspects of church fellowship. Peggy and I have been married 47 years and enjoy time with our two children and five grandchildren. We spent almost 28 years with the US Army which gave us the opportunity to participate in at least 14 different congregations and we have visited many more churches. This broad ecumenical experience gives us a unique perspective on the wonderful work for the Kingdom of God at First Baptist Church. Like Nehemiah of the Old Testament responding to God’s call to rebuild the wall around Jerusalem, everyone must learn to hear the calling of the Holy Spirit in their lives. First Baptist Church offers that opportunity to all who will come and respond to the Good News.
