Bethany Dickinson

Bethany grew up an MK/missionary kid surrounded by international students. Being bitten by the international bug Bethany fell in love with people of other cultures and nations. Educated as a dietitian and lactation consultant she hoped to use her education in overseas mission work. God opened doors for her to join her father as campus staff at Purdue University in the spring of 2009. Since joining she has been able to assist international women with nutrition and lactation advice. Bethany joined ISI as a single woman, but Jesus has blessed her with a wonderful husband, Brent, and on August 30th, 2012, a beautiful son, Malachi. Bethany is excited to see how her ministry will be enhanced by Malachi as she reaches out to the spouses of students at Purdue University.

Tom and Valli Howard

Mission Aviation Fellowship

Tom and Valli Howard, missionaries with Mission Aviation Fellowship, serve out of MAF's home office, in Nampa, Idaho, in support of MAF's worldwide ministry. Since joining the Nampa team in 2006, Tom has taken on several roles, and currently, as Project Coordinator, is implementing the Remote Access Aviation System project. Tom shares, "My work with RAAS will allow our staff to better track required maintenance, mechanical problems, mechanic training requirements, and parts inventories, resulting in less down-time for our aircraft and safer operations. The bottom line will be better stewardship of parts inventory, aircraft, and staff time. The projected savings in aircraft down-time, as mechanics wait for parts, will be equivalent to adding three new planes to the fleet, and the additional safety will prevent accidents." Valli complements the Ministry Partnership Team as Administrative Assistant, where she has numerous opportunities to design and create tools for ministry, such as prayer cards, thank you notes, display boards, and brochures. God has also given her a venue for music as the “Congo drummer”, and oboist for both MAF our local church worship team.

Jake and Taneille Lowe

CMF Missionaries

Jake and Taneille were married in July 2006, and started working toward their goal of obtaining the “American Dream.” Taneille graduated from St. Elizabeth School of Nursing/St Joseph’s College with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2007. Jake received his paramedic license through IUPUI/Wishard Memorial Hospital in 2006. He currently attends Johnson University, studying ministry and leadership online. After the birth of their third child in September 2010, God placed a desire in their hearts to love and serve unreached people in Africa. He steadily continued to reveal His desire, more specifically, for them to serve in Ethiopia. They now realize the American Dream they were searching for was only an empty hole that could only be filled with Christ’s love and compassion. They have 5 children – Aubrey (2007), Logan (2009), Alivia (2010), Lydon (2013) and Ayla (2015).
